Celebrity home front: Anna Kournikova

Tennis player turned fitness coach Anna Kournikova has sold her Miami estate for a smashing $7.4m.

And the pin-up sportswoman served an ace when it came to making a profit here. She originally paid $5m for the beachfront home back in 2000.

The property has a coveted address on Sunset Island, a luxurious gated community.

Expect a large dock and 150-ft of frontage onto the Intracoastal Waterway at the 6,630 sq ft sprawling pile, with seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

And her long-term boyfriend Enrique Iglesias will undoubtedly appreciate the Spanish-style architecture here with waterfront views from floor-to-ceiling windows.

Other features include high ceilings and exposed beams to the hacienda as well as a two-storey guest house, deck pool and Jacuzzi.

Meanwhile large trees provide privacy, making the outdoors perfect for entertaining.

And the new buyer will have Gloria Estefan, Shaquille O’Neal, Alex Rodriguez and P.Diddy as neighbours here.

The pair have spent the last 10-years together but, as yet, there are no plans to marry.

However, they are currently working on their own lovenest which is the reason for Anna selling up her Miami bolthole.

Anna was one of the coaches on the TV series The Biggest Loser where she helped contestants overcome weight issues. She hasn’t returned for the second season though — perhaps house-building plans are now taking up too much of her time.

Sarah Beeney

Even the most experienced property developer can hit a glitch when renovating a dream pad — that is what happened to Property Ladder presenter Sarah Beeney.

Sarah and husband Graham Swift filmed a new reality show as they transformed a beautiful country mansion.

The pair wanted Rise Hall in Yorkshire to be a luxury wedding venue, but ran into difficulty with planning.

However, the nightmare is now over following an angst-ridden 12-months, and the mansion can be the dream venue the couple envisaged when they took it on.

David Schwimmer

Friends star David Schwimmer has incurred the wrath of his neighbours — before even moving in.

Schwimmer and his family, wife, Zoe Buckman and their daughter Cleo, are about to move into a townhouse in New York’s East Village.

However the 19th century building was demolished before it was awarded landmark status, and Schwimmer submitted plans for a new building.

He has been branded a ‘yuppie transient’ by a neighbour who has lived there for 37 years.
