Over 45 homes set to go under the hammer

A three-bedroom house in mid-Ulster for £35,000? Well-priced homes such as this will go under the hammer tonight at Gerard Graham’s property auction at the Terrace Hotel, Magherafelt, starting at 7pm.

More than 45 properties are up for sale at the auction, with everything from abodes from £35k to commercial units, rentals, land and sites.

Bargain boltholes include a three-bedroom house (currently tenanted) that has recently been refurbished, and a four-bedroom detached house with a reserve of £100k, along with land and sites, all of which have been reduced to sell.

In addition to property, sports fans can pick up memorabilia signed by premiership footballers Tim Cahill and Andy Johnson, as well as by former boxer Ricky Hatton. The sale proceeds of these items will all be donated to charity.

Gerard Graham Estate Agent did business with both the footballers and Ricky Hatton, who bought property from the business. At the time Hatton set up his training HQ abroad. He recently admitted to suffering from depression and said he contemplated suicide after losing to Manny Pacquiao.
