Just born: Adam O'Lone's the apple in the eyes of his proud parents

Aaron O'Lone and Lesley-Anne Mackey from Newtownards have welcomed a son into the world.

Adam Alexander John O'Lone weighed 7lbs 1oz when he was born at the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald on November 2 at 6.59pm.

Aaron and Lesley-Anne paid tribute to the staff the hospital.

Lesley-Anne said: "When I arrived at the Ulster Hospital I was very unwell, which could have had very serious effects on my son but thanks to the quick thinking and professionalism of the staff we are now both safe and well.

"Aaron and I would like to give a very very big thank you to everyone who helped before and after the birth of Adam.

"Everyone was brilliant."

The proud second-time mum explained Adam was thriving.

"He is gorgeous," she said.

"He looks like his daddy.

"He is going brilliantly."

Big sister Darcy enjoys helping Aaron and Lesley-Anne care for little Adam.

"She loves her little brother," Lesley-Anne said.

"She loves helping with him.

"We've got our perfect little family now."

Aaron and Lesley-Anne would also like to say a big thank you to their loved ones for the care and support they have shown.

"Thanks to all our friends and family for the support," Lesley-Anne added.
