Cathy and Michael Boyd from Belfast are celebrating the birth of their daughter Olivia following her arrival in the world five weeks early.
Olivia Niamh Boyd weighed 6lb 5oz and measured 50cm when she was born at the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald on January 9 at 12.23am.
Michael, a director of football development at the IFA, was 38 the day before Olivia was born so they just missed out on sharing a birthday.
"We were not expecting her so soon and the labour was very fast," Cathy, a 35-year-old BBC picture editor, said.
"She is very good.
"I am amazed she is so laid back.
"She is so beautiful.
"She is just a wee dote.
"We love her."
Olivia looks a lot like her big sister Rachel who is also enjoying the latest addition to the family.
"She is taking to her really well," Cathy said.
"She has been a really good help.
"She gives her hugs and has been very sweet to her so we hope that continues!"
The Boyd house has been full of visitors keen to meet little Olivia after she arrived home at the start of last week.
"It has been non-stop since we got out of hospital," Cathy said.
Cathy praised the team at the Ulster Hospital for their care.
"They were brilliant," she said.
"They couldn't have been any better."
