Emma and Drew McMahon, from Lisburn, are celebrating the birth of their second child.
Oscar Matthew McMahon weighed 8lbs 9oz and measured 53cms when he was born at the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald on May 2 at 4.37pm.
Emma (33), a financial analyst, and Drew (37), a civil servant, were thrilled the meet the new addition to the family.
"I was overwhelmed that he was here," she said.
"He seemed very small compared to what we are used to now.
"We were over the Moon that he was here safe and sound.
"He looks exactly like his older brother and his dad."
Oscar's older brother, 19-month-old Thomas, is enjoying his new role.
"He is very good," Emma said. "He had a good stare at him when he first came in and then he gave him a kiss on the cheek, so he is being gentle."
Drew was extremely proud of how his wife handled the labour and is enjoying the challenge of two sons in the house.
"She did an amazing job," Drew said. "I was really pleased at how well everything went. She coped so well with everything.
"I am sure any spare time I was going to have is gone now, but I will enjoy my time with them now."
The couple would like to thanks family and friends for their support and praise the staff at the Ulster.
"They were great from start to finish," Emma said. "They were excellent."
