Stuart and Emma Milligan from Annaghmore have started the new year in style with a beautiful winter wedding.
It has been something of a whirlwind romance for Stuart (38), a lorry driver, and Emma (32), a primary school teacher.
The couple met two years ago through friends and quickly fell in love.
They became engaged in May last year.
"We were sitting on the couch in Emma's place ," Stuart said.
"It wasn't too romantic! I took an attack of the nerves.
"I had my Nana's ring with me. Thankfully Emma said 'yes'."
Stuart and Emma were married on January 2 at Annaghmore Church of Ireland.
"We loved it," Stuart said.
"The service was lovely.
"There were candles all up round the place. They still had the Christmas tree up.
"It looked so lovely."
A relaxed and fun-filled reception followed at the Roe Park Resort in Limavady.
The happy couple had poured immense effort into making their day extra special, leaving their guests with a day to remember.
Stuart and Emma would like to thank their friends and family for sharing in their happiness and helping to make their big day so special.
The newlyweds are honeymooning in the US to celebrate the beginning of their married life.
They are taking in the sights of New York and San Franscisco.
"We feel great," Stuart added.
"We are both very laidback. We sort of felt married pretty much straight away.
