Pam's People: Something for men on Carrickfergus catwalk

By Pamela Ballantine

When it comes to fashion men tend to be left very much in the shade so I was delighted to have been invited to Douglas & Grahame's fabulous premises in Carrickfergus to view the latest Remus Uomo collection.

After a lovely lunch we were treated to a catwalk show featuring the very best designs for the man in your life for the coming season.

Another family-run company has also been celebrating. Lisburn-based Andrew Ingredients will have been in business for 70 years this year and at a sod-cutting ceremony announced a major £750,000 investment plan which will see the company expand to provide top-quality ingredients to the baking industry throughout Ireland.

If you haven't been to Atelier House in Wellington Place then you really must treat yourself to this hidden gem. Inside you will find French Vintage Vie and Atelier Design. These businesses held an evening for guests to peruse the unique items sourced from French markets and renowned designers while enjoying a glass of French wine with cheese.
