Recipe: Apple and pork burgers

What you'll need
1 large eating apple, peeled and chopped
2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
450g minced pork
2 tbsp sage
75g mozzarella, cubed
1 tbsp olive oil
Chunky apple sauce, to serve
Cheese-topped burger buns and mixed salad leaves to serve, optional
Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the apple and garlic for three to four minutes, until softened. Remove from heat and transfer to a large bowl to cool.
Stir in the pork, sage and seasoning. Mix together thoroughly.
Divide the mixture into four and shape into balls. Push mozzarella into the centre, then form into patties.
Heat the olive oil in pan and fry patties for three to four minutes on each side over a low heat until golden.
Serve in cheese-topped burger buns with a dollop of the apple sauce and salad.
