Recipe: Hummous with carrot and celery sandwhich
As a new survey reveals that many mums skip lunch because they’re so busy, Kingsmill share some delicious and quick sandwich ideas to keep you going throughout the day.
What you'll need
2 slices Kingsmill Crusts Away! 50/50 (or Crusts Away! White)
4 slices cucumber
5cm piece celery, thinly sliced
1 small carrot, grated
1 tsp low fat mayonnaise
Makes ONE sandwich
Spread the hummous onto one slice of bread, place the cucumber and celery on top, then sprinkle on the grated carrot.
Spread the low-fat mayonnaise onto the other slice of bread and place (mayonnaise side down) on to the sandwich.
Cut in half and serve.
