Recipe: Pineapple and gammon slaw deli softs
As a new survey reveals that many mums skip lunch because they’re so busy, Kingsmill share some delicious and quick sandwich ideas to keep you going throughout the day.
What you'll need
2 Kingsmill 50/50 Deli Softs
200g unsmoked gammon (thick cut cooked ham makes a great alternative)
3 tbsp coleslaw
1/2 tsp wholegrain mustard
30g pineapple diced (fresh if possible)
7-8 pieces baby watercress
Makes two sandwiches
Grill the gammon for four to five minutes per side until cooked through.
Mix the coleslaw, mustard and pineapple together along with a twist of black pepper.
Take the Kingsmill 50/50 Deli Softs and place the gammon on the bottom and then the watercress, finally top with the coleslaw.
Add the top halves of the Deli Softs to serve.
