I’ve always had trouble relating to people and although I'm fine with casual acquaintances and work colleagues, I simply cannot form deep relationships. I’m afraid of women and terrified they will reject or humiliate me if I approach them.
I spend most of my time alone and any friendships I do form usually end prematurely because of my fears. Can you see any hope for me? BC
FIONA SAYS: DON’T HOLD REGRETS
Try to treat potential girlfriends in the same manner as you would treat casual acquaintances or colleagues.
That way you could stay relaxed and chatty, and give friendship a chance to grow.
Just think how many people form permanent relationships with “the girl next door” or with a work colleague.
Rejection may be hard to live with, but as time passes you'll feel far worse about the things you regret than you ever will about any rejections you may experience in life.
