With the half-term holidays approaching at the end of October, families across Northern Ireland will be looking for inspiration to maximise this precious family time.

A short break to the countryside or coast is the perfect way to create great childhood memories while giving mum and dad some well-earned rest.

And finding the right place to stay needn’t be a chore. Tourism Northern Ireland assesses accommodation providers for suitability for families – just look for the ‘Families Welcome’ logo on to find a property that will go the extra mile to make your stay a memorable one.

From high chairs to games rooms and farmyard animals, here’s a round up of Northern Ireland accommodation that’s just perfect for families.

1. Blessingbourne Courtyard Apartments, Blessingbourne Estate, Fivemiletown, Co Tyrone

Blessingbourne Estate is a working farm set on a beautiful country estate on the edge of Clogher Valley, just a five minute walk to the village of Fivemiletown where you’ll find shops, child friendly restaurants and a trekking centre.
