EasyJet takes off with new flights to Venice from Belfast

By Staff Reporter

Airline easyJet has launched a new route from Belfast International Airport to Venice starting in June.

The all-year round service will operate twice a week and Venice is now the second Italian destination on easyJet's Belfast network, following the launch of a Naples route two months ago.

EasyJet said it now serves 32 routes from Belfast and "continues to expand at its base in Northern Ireland".

Country manager Ali Gayward said: "We're committed to expansion at Belfast Airport and the addition of another new route and additional aircraft will help us to deliver long term, sustainable growth, providing passengers with a greater range of destinations, all with low fares and great service."
