Armed robbery at north Belfast shop

A gang of masked men carrying suspected firearms robbed a shop in north Belfast on Saturday evening.

Shortly before 8.20pm three men entered the shop, close to the junction of the Ballysillan Road and Wallasey Avenue.

They threatened staff and made off with a sum of cash and cigarettes.

It's believed two of the men are aged in their late 20s and were wearing hooded tops.

No one was injured in the incident.
