Belfast City Marathon: Kenyan athletes cross the line first in 2018 race

The winners of the 2018 Belfast City Marathon have crossed the finish line, with around 17,000 others following in their wake.

Athletes of all shapes and sizes have taken to the streets of the capital in what could prove to be the hottest day of the year.

Taking the men's title was Eric Koech with a time of 2:18:20.

Following shortly afterwards was the women's winner Caroline Jepchirchir, who won with a time of 2:41:17.

Northern Ireland's Laura Graham, who won the race last year, pulled out another top performance to take second place with a time of 2:43:34.

The event started at the City Hall at 9am and finished in Ormeau Park.
