Bookmakers held up by gunmen

A bookmakers in Bangor was held up at gunpoint at the weekend.

Two men entered the shop in the Queen’s Arcade around 9.15pm on Saturday and threatened staff with a handgun before making off with a sum of money.

One was described as wearing a dark coloured hooded top while the other wore a green top with a white stripe along the front.

They fled the scene on foot. Police arrested an 18-year-old man after the incident but later released him unconditionally.
