A pensioner has been treated for shock after she was punched in the face by a teenager in Co Tyrone.
The 67-year-old woman was using a walking aid and had just left her home in the Melmount Road area of Strabane at 5.30pm on Saturday when she was attacked.
The culprit, aged 13 or 14, punched the woman in the face and tried to grab her bag as she fell.
The boy made off empty-handed when passers-by stopped to help.
The woman was treated in hospital for shock and a swollen eye.
