DUP MPs to back Theresa May in crucial Brexit votes
DUP MPs will support Theresa May’s government in a series of crucial upcoming Brexit votes at Westminster.
The House of Commons is to debate 14 proposed amendments to the EU Withdrawal Bill made by the House of Lords.
The crucial bill will set out the terms for the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union.
The Prime Minister is braced for a backbench revolt from Conservative MPs but has urged the rebels to support the government.
The BBC reports the 10 DUP MPs are expected to support the Prime Minister in the votes over the next two days.
One of the key amendments suggested by the House of Lords is to give Parliament a meaningful vote on any final Brexit deal.
If the government loses this key vote, Prime Minister May may lose control of the Brexit negotiations.
