Dennis Taylor takes another shot at dancing
His paso doble may have been poor and his samba less than spicy, but Dennis Taylor is returning to the dance floor.
The Coalisland snooker champ has been unveiled as one of the celebrities in this year’s Let’s Dance For Sport Relief.
And he’ll be hoping to put to the test some of the tips he picked up from series three of Strictly Come Dancing.
Taylor was eliminated in week five of the contest. The week before he had been in the bottom two with a lacklustre quickstep.
But his Strictly slip-ups have not deterred him from throwing himself into another dance challenge — this time for charity.
The ex-world champion and snooker commentator will be joined by football legends Peter Shilton and Rodney Marsh and fellow snooker star Willie Thorne. Claudia Winkleman and Steve Jones will host the show, starting on Saturday, February 20 on BBC1.
