£750k learning project for families

A £750,000 project has been launched to help some of Magherafelt and Antrim’s more marginalised families access a better lifestyle through learning.

The Big Lottery Fund project is entitled Living and Learning Together and will run for five years.

It is being co-ordinated by project manager Marie Donaghy at the Magherafelt campus of Northern Regional College (NRC).

The project — which is funded by the Lottery’s — will offer a holistic approach to better mental and physical health through learning and education. It will be delivered through a range of local public, community and voluntary organisations.
