Belfast Met to offer career advice at Titanic Quarter Campus clearing days

Belfast Met is holding a number of clearing days this month for anyone who is taking the next step in their education.

Students are being invited to the Titanic Quarter Campus September 8 and 13 from 10am to 2pm to chat to a careers advisor or tutor about options available at the college.

A range of full time and part time courses are on offer - including the HND Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering which can lead to a career with a starting salary of almost £29k.

And for those who did not secure their place at uni for Civil Engineering, there is the option to study a Foundation Degree in the subject at Belfast Met and then progress onto year two or three at uni.

The college also offers academic and professional courses in a range of areas including hospitality, travel and tourism, hairdressing, computer games development, sport, music and science.

Belfast Met’s Director of Curriculum, Dr Jonathan Heggarty, said: “Whatever type of course you are interested in, be that BTECs, A Levels, HNDs, Foundation Degrees, Apprenticeships or other training programmes Belfast Met should be your first port of call.

“Over the past few years the college has invested upwards of £60m on improving our four campuses across Belfast to give students the most relevant learning experience possible while attending the college.
