Belfast Telegraph student diary initiative was open to all Northern Ireland finalists who qualified for the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition that is taking place in Dublin 12-14 January.

As well as the 520 student projects on display, there are a further four exhibition halls filled with science and technology based exhibits and entertainment, making it a thrilling event for those who enter and for general visitors too.

Four schools were selected from those that applied for the Belfast Telegraph student diary initiative. They were presented with a video recorder to record their preparations and experience of the exhibition to create a Student Diary. An overall prize of an iPad will be awarded to the school with the best footage. The winning school will be selected by a BT judging panel after the exhibition.

The four schools that we selected are: Wellington College; St Louise GS; Abbey Christian Brothers and Loreto Grammar.
