Speaking about his University experience, Andrew said: “I have found my time at Queen’s equally very enjoyable with regards to academics, and to socialising. I met so many new people and made friends from different backgrounds and communities that I never would have had the chance to meet otherwise.
“I have been supported by the University through the Elite Athlete Programme which provided me with the background team and support who helped me rise from the national level of my sport to the international stage, whilst still being able to achieve a high level degree from a world class institution.”
Looking forward to the future, Andrew added: “It is scary to be finally graduating, but at the same time it is very exciting. Over the next few weeks I will be focussing on qualifying for the European championships in Berlin this August and then next year I plan on continuing my studies at Queen’s by doing a Master’s in Economics.”
