50% rise in those living with MS in Northern Ireland

There are 3,500 in Northern Ireland living with multiple sclerosis (MS), a report suggests.

Across the UK, there has been an almost 50% jump in the number of people with MS, according to research published by the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation.

But the jump is likely due to increased life expectancy, which means more people are living with MS.
