The coronavirus has swept through sport for the second day running, with nearly every sport hit by some form of cancellations on Friday.

Here's a list of today's coronavirus-hit events, which we will keep updated throughout the day as more news breaks.

FOOTBALL

  • Irish League: all local football suspended until April 3, one team has a confirmed case of coronavirus, several teams reporting players or staff self-isolating as a precaution
  • League of Ireland: Waterford have suspended all training
  • Premier League: suspended until April 4, two teams have confirmed cases of coronavirus, six further teams reporting players or staff self-isolating as a precaution
  • English Football League: all leagues suspended until April 3, several teams reporting players or staff self-isolating as a precaution
  • Scottish Football League: all leagues suspended indefinitely, including Sunday's Old Firm derby
  • Europe: all Champions League and Europa League games next week cancelled, along with the quarter-final draws for both tournaments, several teams have confirmed cases of coronavirus, several teams reporting players or staff self-isolating as a precaution
  • Germany: all Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 games this weekend have been postponed
  • International: England's friendlies with Italy and Denmark postponed, Wales' friendly against Austria postponed
  • Women's: FA Cup, Super League and Championship postponed until April 3

RUGBY UNION

  • Six Nations: Wales' game against Scotland on Saturday is postponed
  • Europe: French Rugby Federation suspend all rugby indefinitely and the Ligue Nationale de Rugby suspend the Top 14, casting severe doubt on Ulster's Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final against Toulouse on April 5
  • Premiership Cup: the final between Harlequins and Sale Sharks has been postponed after a member of staff exhibited symptoms consistent with coronavirus
  • English Championship: Nottingham's game with the Jersey Reds is postponed due to two Jersey players asked to self-isolate

GOLF

  • Masters: postponed indefinitely
  • PGA Tour: Players Championship cancelled, along with all events up to April 16
  • LPGA Tour: next three events cancelled, including the first Major of the year, the ANA Inspiration

ICE HOCKEY

  • Elite League: cancelled all remaining fixtures, ending the Belfast Giants' season

BOXING

  • USA: Michael Conlan's fight against Belmar Preciado in Madison Square Garden on St Patrick's Day has been cancelled

CRICKET

  • International: England's tour in Sri Lanka has been cut short and players are returning home

MOTOR RACING

  • Formula One: Bahrain and Vietnam Grands Prix cancelled with the season opener pushed back until May
  • Rallying: the Circuit of Ireland has been postponed

CYCLING

  • Giro d'Italia: cancelled indefinitely

ATHLETICS

  • Marathon: the London Marathon has been postponed until October 4, the Manchester Marathon has been postponed and the Boston Marathon has been rescheduled to September 14

HOCKEY

  • International: Ireland have suspended their next week's training camp in South Africa

SWIMMING

  • Olympics/Paralympics: Irish Open Swimming Championships due to be held in Dublin postponed
