With non-essential retail in Northern Ireland set to reopen on Friday, here's ten tips on how to stay safe when heading to the shops:

  • Wash your hands
  • Use hand sanitiser
  • Wear a mask
  • Stay 2m apart
  • Don't go into busy shops
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Avoid long queues
  • Don't handle items
  • Avoid unnecessary shopping
  • Pay with a card and avoid cash
