A special 100th birthday card with a fun Northern Irish spin has been designed for Captain Tom Moore.
Local company Leopard Print Cards, which is run by Belfast mum Emma Horner, launched the card yesterday and already dozens have been ordered to help mark the Second World War veteran's big day in two weeks' time.
All proceeds from sales of the card, which reads 'Happy 100th Captain Tom Keep 'Er Lit', will be going towards the 99-year-old's NHS charity drive.
The Englishman has become a hero after raising more than £20m for the NHS Together Charities by walking around his garden 100 times on his Zimmer frame.
More than 890,000 people have now made donations to his JustGiving page and more than half a million people have called for Captain Tom to be knighted in a petition to the Honours Committee.
Ms Horner now hopes to brighten his 100th birthday by encouraging people to send him a birthday card.
She said: "It was actually a friend who suggested to me that I should design a birthday card for Tom with a Northern Irish twist.
"I'm delighted to do it and every penny will go to his charity fund.
"I will write the cards for people and post them if they want and I think it will be nice for him to get cards with a bit of Northern Irish humour.
"I think what he is doing is amazing and very moving. It is a bit of good news in the midst of all the doom and gloom and it would be wonderful to think he will get hundreds of birthday cards from all over the place to mark his 100th birthday."
