In my day: We quiz Pamela Cassells on the time of her life

Q. What was your favourite decade?

A. I would have to say the 1990s. Even though I was only a young pup, the 1990s still hold great memories for me.

Q. What was life like?

A. I was young, free and innocent. Summer seemed to last forever and I had such a great time growing up, there was a real sense of adventure.

Q. What were you listening to?

A. Music was fantastic. Brit Pop had just landed and even at an early age it had an impact on me. Bands like Oasis, Blur, Supergrass and Pulp raised the bar in the music world.

Q. And the style?

A. I am a massive fashion fan and I loved the Adidas era. For me back then I had a jacket in every colour. I am still fond of a wee retro Adidas jacket!

Q. What has changed?

A. Well certainly fashion has changed and technology has massively changed. Society's opinions and outlooks have also moved forward, which is encouraging. I have changed too.

Q. What was better back then?

A. Music. And my brothers and boyfriend would say the rave scene... I was too young to appreciate that!
