A Fermanagh man accused of climbing into an ex-girlfriend's bedroom as she slept was yesterday banned from her village.
Aiden McGee is alleged to have fled when the woman, with whom he had a brief relationship, woke and screamed out.
The 33-year-old, of Tullyvogy, a townland outside Belleek, faces one charge of harassment.
Kate McKay, prosecuting, said the alleged victim had ended their relationship after going out with McGee for two weeks.
She claimed he returned to her home in a Belleek housing estate on July 19. The woman was not there, but her teenage daughter was there alone and said to have been left shaken by his presence.
Mrs McKay said McGee returned several times, knocking on doors and windows at day and night.
It was alleged that around 4am on July 20 he entered the woman's bedroom through a window. “She saw him, screamed and he ran from the house,” Mrs McKay said.
“Effectively this lady has ended the relationship and he hasn't been able to accept that.”
Granting bail, Mr Justice McLaughlin ordered McGee not to enter Belleek.
