Moat letter contained threats to former friends

Raoul Moat's confession letter includes furious tirades against former friends, including one he threatens to kill.

In the 49-page handwritten document, handed to The Sun newspaper, the 37-year-old attacks a string of people he feels have wronged him.

Referring to one former acquaintance, he says: "I've got a good mind to come back and shoot them."

Moat also says of one of his ex-girlfriend Sam Stobbart's relatives: "I've read in one of the papers where xxxx claims I bruised Sam.

"Stick that lying **** on a lie detector, cos I aint ever bruised Sam. Ever."

The nightclub bouncer adds: "As for my neighbour claiming she's heard me beating my kids, do the same with her."

Moat also rants about an Environmental Agency officer who visited him over allegations of fly-tipping.

"He checked my books and noted all was in order, after the police were sending him emails with pics of my truck on certain dates. Whats that all about???"

The bodybuilder describes his ex-girlfriend Ms Stobbart as "The One", and said their break-up "finished me off".

Moat goes on to claim he killed victim Chris Brown because he thought he was a police officer.

"Had he been an ordinary guy and not police, I wouldn't have shot him," he wrote.

He also admits to being a "killer and a maniac" in the letter, and pledges to keep killing police until he is dead.
