Mother dies after ski slope collision
A British mother-of-three died after colliding with another skier while on a half-term holiday with her family.
Tracy Boland (46) died at the scene despite her husband's frantic efforts to save her, police in Kaprun, Austria, said last night.
He did not witness the impact, which happened while their young children were at a nearby ski school at about 12.10pm yesterday.
An Austrian police spokesman said: “He was there on the glacier but did not see the accident.
Mrs Boland's husband, along with her daughter and two sons, are preparing to return home to Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
