Watch: Ulster Unionist Party's different take on political broadcast features drama about the DUP with man in his pyjamas

By Claire Williamson

The Ulster Unionist Party have gone for a different take on the traditional party political broadcast - as they feature a man in his pyjamas.

The video begins with a bleary-eyed man in his dressing gown who stops outside the door of the party's headquarters in east Belfast.

He meets a woman who invites him in for coffee.

The man says he has been asleep for quite a while and when he asks about the political situation, the woman tell him the events that have led to the current crisis at Stormont.

Appearing exasperated by the end of the woman's narrative - UUP leader Mike Nesbitt appears.

He tells them: "The people were promised a fresh start which actually turned out to be a false start.

"The problem is there is no chemistry between the leadership."

He added: "We think it's time to change."
