West Tyrone: Sinn Fein scores hat-trick but SDLP is a winner too
After almost 30 hours, numerous declarations and a full recount, there was still no change party-wise to the political landscape in West Tyrone.
Sinn Fein retained its grip on its three seats.
Tom Buchanan topped the poll for the DUP.
But the big story was Daniel McCrossan retaining the SDLP's foothold on the republican stronghold.
The 27-year-old's selection had split the party locally - but he was first over the line after eight counts at Omagh Leisure Centre.
Ross Hussey retained the seat held by the Ulster Unionist Party.
Sinn Fein held its three seats, with Barry McElduff, Declan McAleer and Michaela Boyle returned as MLAs.
