£150,000 work at Belfast's Boucher Road junction to begin
Roads chiefs are spending £150,000 to improve safety at one of Belfast's busiest junctions.
Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the scheme to improve traffic flow and assist pedestrians around the junction at Boucher Road and Boucher Crescent.
Work is due to start next Monday and traffic lights and pedestrian crossings will be put in place.
Mr Kennedy said: "I am aware of the difficulties drivers experience at this busy junction. The works to provide controlled crossings will also greatly assist local residents from the Village area access shops and facilities in Boucher Crescent."
