By Linda Stewart

A new £200,000 visitor centre has been opened by the National Trust at its Florence Court property in Co Fermanagh.

The building, which has improved facilities, serves as the entrance point for all visitors.

The National Trust is hoping it will help with its target of doubling the number coming to Florence Court to 80,000 over the next decade.

The investment was funded and managed by the Forest Service from the Executive's economy and jobs initiative and delivered by the Department of Finance and Personnel

The National Trust has also taken on the management of connecting trails.

Florence Court opens today for the 2016 season. Visit
