I haven't thought much about it, but I've lived all my life in Portadown - later expanded to Craigavon - and perhaps I take for granted all the positives the area has to offer.
On industry, we're the best off outside the cities of Belfast and Londonderry, with giant firms like Almac, Moy Park, NACCO, Ulster Carpets and Irwin's Bakery providing employment. And we have one of the best transport systems here, with trains every half hour to Belfast and a regular service to Dublin.
Portadown and Lurgan, of course, maintain their identities and rivalries, while the 'new city' area in between has great shopping with Rushmere and Highfield. And a long-awaited new cinema is coming soon with jobs already advertised.
We're also within striking distance of Lough Neagh, the biggest freshwater lake in the British Isles - not to mention the smaller city lakes in central Craigavon, soon to be boosted with a £30m leisure centre.
Yes - we have a lot going for us…
