The largest collection of Salvador Dali's works seen in Ireland will form the centrepiece of a unique art exhibition in Belfast this summer.

The Culloden Estate will play host to 14 pieces from the Dali Universe Collection in Switzerland.

The Spanish surrealist's work will be exhibited alongside pieces from the world's biggest names in art from June 15-20.

There will be rooms devoted to Andy Warhol and street artist Banksy and a Modern Masters Collection in the Ailsa Suite featuring Picasso, Miro and Lucien Freud.

The exhibition will boast more than 120 sculptures, with some valued at up to €500,000, which will be on display both in the grounds of the 12-acre estate and in the hotel itself.

The Culloden Estate's idyllic private grounds overlooking Belfast Lough will be a perfect backdrop to the finest collection of sculpture to be displayed on the island of Ireland.

Other artists featured include Damien Hirst, Robert Indiana, Grayson Perry, Tom Wesselmann, Keith Haring and Julian Opie.

Irish artists also feature, including Peter Monaghan, Stephen Johnston, Ian Pollock, Patrick O'Reilly, Stephen Forbes, Kenneth Webb and Orla De Bri.

Howard Hastings, managing director of Hastings Hotels, said: "Art in the Garden will give art lovers a unique opportunity to view these incredible pieces of work in the beautiful surroundings of the Culloden Estate and Spa.

"We have worked with Gormleys Fine Art in organising the exhibition and I am confident that visitors will truly appreciate the collection of work that has been put together."

During the exhibition, there will be daily guided tours around the Art in the Garden installations at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm.

Guests can enjoy special Art in the Garden Breaks with luxurious overnight accommodation, full Irish breakfast and entry into the exhibition from only £230 per room. There will also be an Art in the Garden Afternoon Tea at the Culloden with a curated art tour of the exhibits for £50 per person.
