Accused denies abusing stepson
A Belfast man has appeared in court accused of sexual offences against his stepson and another teenage boy who advertised his services online.
The 42-year-old suspect, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was remanded in custody due to the "predatory" nature of the alleged offences.
He faces a total of six charges, including sexual touching of a boy aged under 16, indecent assault and gross indecency towards a child, and buying alcohol for a minor.
The accused, a married father-of-three, denies all of the allegations against him.
Defence solicitor Noel Phoenix contended that the allegations involving a member of his client's family were historical, with that complainant now in his twenties.
The second alleged victim, now aged 17, advertised his services on the internet classifieds site Gumtree, the court heard.
District Judge Fiona Bagnall remanded the accused in custody due to fears of possible re-offending.
