A man has been charged in Belfast with trying to rob a chemist's in the Sandy Row area yesterday only two hours after allegedly holding up a shop on the Castlereagh Road.
David Maurice Adams (39), from Jocelyn Street, is alleged to have stolen £290 from the first shop.
Adams was also accused of having a knife.
He was refused bail at Belfast Magistrates Court because he is on licence for firearms offences.
Adams was remanded in custody until August 23.
