Air rage accused Northern Ireland man applies for bail to return to Lanzarote
Lawyers for a man allegedly involved in an air rage incident are to ask permission for him to return to Lanzarote, a court heard yesterday.
Antrim Magistrates Court also heard that 36-year-old Patrick James Michael McGuinness, who has been living on the island, had travelled home to spend Christmas with his mother when he allegedly committed the offences on December 21.
He is accused of a number of charges including common assault, endangering the safety of an aircraft, using disorderly behaviour in an aircraft and being drunk on a plane. Freeing McGuinness on continuing bail, District Judge Nigel Broderick put the case back to February 5.
