Anger as pipe bomb is found
The people who left a pipe bomb in the front garden of a north Belfast house "have to be faced down", an SDLP councillor has said.
Paul McCusker condemned those behind the device discovered in Oldpark yesterday.
"Those responsible have nothing to offer this community," said Mr McCusker.
"We're trying to build a better north Belfast and acts like this only make that harder. They have to be faced down." .
The device was taken away by Army bomb disposal experts for forensic examination.
A number of residents who were evacuated from their homes were able to return last night.
