Antrim ATM raid probe officers arrest man

Detectives investigating the theft of a double ATM machine from commercial premises in Antrim have arrested a man.

The 28-year-old was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal and possession of class B controlled drugs.

The ATM theft took place in the early hours of Friday, December 6,

Detective Chief Inspector McCubbin said: "Our investigation into this is ongoing and I continue to appeal to anyone who has any information that can assist us with our enquiries to contact detectives in Antrim on 101, quoting reference 126 06/12/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
