Appeal after cattle theft in Armagh

Police have appealed for information after a suspected cattle theft in Co Armagh.

Five male Aberdeen Angus Cattle have been reported missing from the Blackquarter Road area of Mowhan. The cattle are aged approximately 14 months.

They were reported missing sometime between 5pm on Wednesday November 6 and 9am on Thursday November 7.

Police enquiries are continuing.

“We would appeal to anyone with information regarding the incident or who saw any suspicious vehicles in the area at the time of the incident to contact police in Armagh on 101, quoting reference number 662 of 11/11/19," Constable Andrew Bingham said.

“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
