Armagh man who died in US to be laid to rest

The funeral of a young Co Armagh man who died suddenly in Philadelphia almost a fortnight ago will take place this afternoon.

Philip Hagan (25), the youngest son of Rev Matthew Hagan and his wife Jennifer, passed away in the US on December 9.

The former deputy head boy of The Royal School, Dungannon was found dead by emergency services in his flat.

His funeral will take place at 2pm today in St Andrew's Parish Church, Killyman, followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.

The service will be conducted by family friend Rev Robert Boyd and will feature a tribute by Philip's brother Jonathan.
