Two men - one armed with a gun - have robbed a cash-in-transit van in north Belfast.

It happened at around 2.30pm on the Oldpark Road on Friday afternoon.

Two men - one armed with a gun - made off with a cash box outside a Post Office.

The pair then headed towards the Cliftondene Crescent area, before getting into a silver Volvo.

It was later recovered by police in Havana Walk.

Police have appealed for information.
