Armed robbery at Chinese takeaway in Belfast

Detectives are investigating an armed robbery at a Chinese take away on Crumlin Road in Belfast early on Sunday morning.

At around 1am two men wearing balaclavas and armed with knives entered the premises.

One of the males took money from the till before both made off on foot.

One of the robbers is described as around 5' 6" tall of heavy build wearing a grey tracksuit and black jacket.

The other was around 6' tall also of heavy build wearing blue jeans and a black top.

A female employee was pushed during the robbery sustaining a minor head injury for which she received hospital treatment.
