Armed yobs mug man walking dog

Two men armed with knives stole cash and a mobile phone from a man while he was walking his dog in west Belfast during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A PSNI spokesman said detectives at Woodbourne police station are appealing for information following the armed robbery in the Corrib Avenue area at around 2.45am.

The robbers are described as around 5ft 9ins and 6ft 2ins and both were wearing dark tops.

Before making off, one of the men kicked the victim’s dog.
