ATM thefts: pair face 88 charges linked to n Newry, Banbridge and Belfast machines
Two men face a total of 88 charges linked to the theft of money from ATM machines in Newry, Banbridge and Belfast.
Police say the cash was stolen from ATM machines between Saturday, October 26 and Friday, November 1 using a cash trapping device.
The pair, aged 27 and 32, face 88 charges, including theft, going equipped for theft, criminal damage and possession of an article for use in frauds.
Officers charged the two men in connection with the thefts from a number of cash dispensers.
Both are expected to appear at Newry Magistrates Court today.
All charges are being reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
