Police are investigating reports of two burglaries at a church in Co Down within 24 hours.

It was reported at 12:10pm on Friday that entry had been gained to the New Testament Pentecostal Church on Main Street in Ballynahinch.

A further report was made to police just after 6:20am today that the same church was broken into a second time.

Police are working to establish what items were taken during the incidents.

Inspector Alastair Macdonald said: “Our enquiries are continuing and I am appealing to anyone who has information about these incidents to call detectives on 101 and quote reference number 353 of 20/02/21."
