B&Q paint spill in car angers Forkhill woman
A furious B&Q customer was allegedly told to go home by staff at the homeware store in Forkhill after complaining that a tin of paint she had just purchased had a dodgy lid, forcing the paint to spill and destroy the interior of her car.
The distraught woman returned to the store immediately to complain but was apparently told she should have checked the lid was secure herself before she left.
She was also advised to visit her nearest Halfords store to purchase the correct cleaning products to clear the mess at her own cost.
The upset customer spent two hours arguing with staff and management at the store before being told to go home.
One bystander said: ““The woman was distraught. I couldn't believe the way she was treated.”
